Transmitter hunting (also known as T-hunting, fox hunting, bunny hunting, and bunny chasing), is an activity wherein participants use radio direction finding techniques to locate one or more radio transmitters hidden within a designated search area. This activity is has an organized sport variation is known as amateur radio direction finding. The equipment requirements are actually quite low and can probably be done with what you have already.

Meetings:
The next membership meeting will be a luncheon on Monday June 7th from Noon until 1:30PM at the SCHH Town Square Pavilion. Bob, WA6WAY will be providing a pulled pork BBQ lunch with sides & beverage. There will be a presentation from V.P. Charlie, AD5EN on Field Day 2021. There will also be an update on the many Public Service happenings from our Public Service Coordinator and Member-at-Large, Dan, K4DNY.
There will be a charge of $5 per person, payable at the event. The Club will subsidize the additional ~$3 cost. Members and spouses are welcome to attend. RSVP by Thursday, June 3, by replying to the invitation email with the number of lunches.

Volunteer Examiner Update:
Thanks to Dennis, AC4DH and his fellow Club VEs, we have licensed two new hams and upgraded one in our most recent exam session, held at Pinckney Hall. Examinees were Dennis, KO4QQG (Technician), Dennis, KO4QQH (General) and Brian, KO4JQE (Amateur Extra).
