Tis the Season: Club Members & Guests Enjoy Holiday Dinner at Jameson’s
Twenty-four members and guests gathered at Jameson’s Char-House at Hidden Cypress for our Club’s Holiday Dinner and Celebration.
Club President Harve Hnatiuk (KB3FW) welcomed everyone and recognized the club’s past presidents and current board members. Ron Frick (AI4HH) was congratulated for his long-term service as the club’s Membership Chairperson. Chip Miller (KQ4JKI) was announced as the new Membership Chairperson. Special recognition was also given to Frank Pollino (K2OS) for leading the club’s EME Event on November 25th and to Jack Frisch (K2ITZ) for organizing the club’s outings to Hunting Island the past two Augusts.
Many members brought items for the Gift Exchange and some contributed door prizes. Bob Officer (WA6WAY) oversaw the drawings for the door prizes and herded the cats for the Gift Exchange. Not too many people went home empty-handed thanks to the generosity of those who came to the celebration!
The capable staff at Jameson’s did a great job in getting everyone fed and watered. Many went home with leftovers to enjoy over the weekend.
It was great to see everyone.
Thanks to all who came out to make it a great evening: Charlie Bess (AD5EN), Marilyn and Marty Caprielian ( K2EG), Melinda and Phil Flaxman (AB2CT ), Ron Frick (AI4HH), Marcie and Jack Frisch (K2ITZ), Cyndee and Harve Hnatiuk (KB3FW), Bob McCormick (KD8IH), Mary Ann and Chip Miller (KQ4JKI), Sharon and Bob Officer (WA6WAY), Frank Pollino (K2OS), Judy and Lon Seward (WB4KSG), Jean (NH6EI ) and Jim Shaner (NH6BS ), Ed Stratton (W1ZZ), Inga and Sherwin Tames (W4QNW), and John Tregenza (W6OX).

Thanks to ALL who checked in to our SCHH ARC nets last week.

Even if you don’t think you have much to say when you check in, “Hello, and hope everyone is doing well” is a good start, right?
Beyond that, as you “read the mail”, hearing what others are contributing to our collective knowledge-base and providing personal updates, you may find that you DO have a few things to say!
